Is there a way to specify an order or grouping of gamesets?
 
e.g.
  1. Start of season each team plays each opponent once
  2. Middle of season each team plays a set number of games (random opp)
  3. End of season each team plays each opponent once

Currently I have to use three schedules with 3 date ranges to accomplish this.

Really the only way to do that is how you currently are - the three schedules with different date ranges. I'll add this to the feature request list.
