Galactix Software Forums: Scheduling Conflicts

   I am trying to schedule a couple of leagues of 9 teams to play 8 games over 8 saturdays for a season. There are 8 courts for the games. I keep getting a handful of unscheduled games at the completion of the schedule. There are no constraints other than each team is to play each other one time. Also there are no court availability issues, meaning I have 8 gyms committed all day for just a few games. I am sure there is something that I am missing here. Is this an algorithym to this or something I need to do?

	Not sure if you have gotten this going yet, but you'll need 9 Saturdays to schedule all the games unless you want some teams to double-up on some of the Saturdays. With an odd number of teams, one will have a bye each week so you can only schedule 4 games each Saturday per league. If you add another week in you'll be set.
